Night Brings its Wetness to Beaches in Your Soul

Ooooooooooh my gooooooooooooosh! (said as Britany-Miller-Aunt-Sue-impression-ish as possible)

Well let's see. I didn't blog yesterday. As far as I can remember, there wasn't much to blog about. It was a fairly typical Monday. I guess we did have talents for Christ chapel which was *ahem* interesting. Some acts were really great. Others were *ahem* interesting. It was enjoyable for the most part anyway. Then I had philosophy class, went to Ada's, tried to take a nap while watching Anchorman, went to Pop Culure, watched some presentations, went to choir... all pretty normal. Ate dinner, talked to Stout, ya know. Pretty regular. Then I stole Megan's ladybug, which, unbeknownst to me, was actually a pretty big deal. I guess his name is Velmer, and he is her homework and bed companion. I didn't even hide him that well. Well I also accidentally locked her out of her room. And I swear it was an accident. But it was quite the ordeal. After that all went down, I went in Tammera and Jessie's room and chatted with them for a bit, talked to Heidi in the lobby, and went to Rae's room and watched Elf. That was my Monday in a nutshell.

Hoy es Martes.

Today, however, was not my typical hellish Tuesday. Not in the same sense anyway. We had International Human Rights. We didn't watch any disturbing movies so hopefully I'll actually be able to sleep this week. Jeremy didn't make much sense. I didn't even know how to BS an answer when he asked me a question. HPR was cancelled today. At least I hope it was. I'm pretty sure that's what she said. So that was nice : ) we had a sort of roommate date. I successfully got 2, almost 3 pieces of corn on Madee's shoulder without her noticing. Is it sad that I have some sense of accomplishment from that?

After lunch, I went upstairs into the computer lounge and watched "Robin Hood: Men In Tights" while I worked on a paper. I've gotta be honest, that's probably one of the dumbest movies I've ever seen. I remember, we watched it on the bus on choir tour last year, and I thought it was pretty ridiculous then too. I also remember feeling kind of weirded out when Dr.Livesay laughed at certain parts, such as the chastity belt, and when he's singing to the girl behind the sheet and his sword looks like a certain male part. And oddly enough, it's directed and written by Mel Gibson? The same guy who wrote and directed The Passion? That just doesn't seem all right to me. Oh well. I endured, and then came back and worked on a summer playlist and went to choir. After choir, I had my Dinner Date with Doof (Jessica Clarke.) I came back, showered, had Bri straighten my hair, and ran off to White Auditorium for our choir concert tonight, which was a pleasant alternative to my normal night class. Seriously, whoever thought of having night classes was a nincompoop. It really just isn't a good idea. At all.

The concert went pretty well. I think spring concert is generally one of my favorites. He tends to pick songs that I actually somewhat like for that concert. Not that I hate all the others, but he picked some good ones. I even got choked up during "For the Sake of the Children." So did my mom. And, it may be safe to say that it was the last concert I had under the direction of Chuck Livesay. WOOHOO!!!!! Afterwards, me and my parents, Grandma, and Bri went out for ice cream at McDonald's. My mother told my dad he was a cheap date because he had taken out 4 girls for under $6. I came back to the room, and have been pretending to work on homework, when in reality, I played a little bubbleshooter, watched an hour and a half of Bones, and have made more playlists for this summer. I worked on a paper for MAYBE 15 minutes.

This time of the year is one of my least favorite. It's so nice out, I've been at it for months, plus this is the last week and a half to see some of my friends for a few months, and I really don't feel like doing anything at all, but I have SO much to do! It's really quite the dilemna. Maybe if I make an official list on my blog, I'll be motivated to write about accomplishing some of the stuff/feel guilty and like a slacker if I don't.
